DP-300
Dual-speed NWay Port
These print servers provide an auto-sensing dual-speed 10/100Mbps port, allowing
flexible attachment to either a 10BASE-T or 100BASE-TX network. This LAN port
automatically detects the connected type of network and adjusts the speed accordingly,
completely without any need for users to intervene.
Multiple Printer Ports 2 Parallel, 1 Serial
This model is designed for sites with printers concentrated in the same location. It
provides 2 high-speed parallel ports, and 1 serial port transmitting at up to 57.6Kbps.
This allows simultaneous connection to as many as 3 printers.
Bi-directional Communication
The parallel ports support HP PJL protocol for bi-directional network printer
communication, proactively providing the administrator with critical information about the
network printers.
Versatile Administrative Program
A simple-to-operate GUI under Windows 3.x, Windows 95 and Windows NT makes it possible
to set up the print server in a matter of minutes. Telnet support means that the
administrator can also configure and maintain the print server from any station on a Unix
or TCP/IP network.
