DI-1137C-1TP

The D-Link DI-1137C-1TP is an IP/IPX multi-protocol ITU compliant ISDN remote Bridge/Router with modular expansion capabilities. It is extremely powerful and can link Ethernet LAN-to-LANs or provide Internet access at speeds up to T1/E1 1.536 Mbps through ISDN or Leased Lines.

As a fully functioning router, the D-Link DI-1137C-1TP supports virtually all industry accepted routing standards to ensure inter-vendor compatibility with maximum security. Protocol support includes IP, IPX, PPP and PPP-MP.

Simple and quick to install, but with all the power of more expensive routers, the DI-1137C-1TP provides the necessary advanced technology and functions for multi-user ISDN Internet access, branch office connection to the corporate WAN, and LAN to LAN bridging.

Flexibility

The integrated support for Network Address Translator (NAT) and DHCP allows the DI-DI-1137C-1TP to share a single ISDN Internet Account IP address among a network's users, eliminating the expense of multiple ISP accounts. As a fully functional and affordable ISDN router, it can also be used to cost-effectively connect branch and home offices to a corporate TCP/IP-based network.

The D-Link DI-1137C-1TP is pre-configured to support ISDN, and can be reconfigured or upgraded to support PPP, Leased Line and/or Frame Relay, through the addition of optional modules. The WAN ISDN U interface supports such advanced features as Connect-on-Demand with protocol spoofing, Bandwidth-on-Demand with BACP/BAP, dual simultaneous location connection (1 ISDN channel per location), and ISDN leased-line support. With dual ISDN channel support, uncompressed data speeds of 128 Kbps and compressed data speeds up to 768 Kbps can be expected.

The D-Link DI-1137C-1TP employs advanced remote acknowledgement protocol spoofing technology that provides increased performance for internet and remote data communications processing by minimizing ISDN overhead.

Firewall Security

The DI-1137C-1TPincludes the D-Link NetProtect software that delivers complete Firewall security. NetProtect allows only specified IP addresses or Protocols in, blocking all others. Using NAT, NAPT, Reverse-NAPT, and DHCP features provided by the D-Link DI-1137C-1TP provides excellent firewall protection. The filters built into the DI-1137C-1TP and the ability to define custom filters allows additional tightly controlled access to sensitive data, while allowing free access to all authorized users. Two levels of PPP security are provided through PAP, and CHAP.

Modular Design

The D-Link DI-1137 base unit supports the following modules:DI-1U for ISDN, the DI-3 V.35 for fractional T1 to T1/E3 leased lines and Frame relay, the DI-5 V.24 for fractional TT! To T1/T3 leased lines and Frame Relay, and the DI-6 integrated 56K leased line CSU/DSU. The DI-1137C-1TP is pre-configured with a DI-1U ISDN Module.
